TV channel "Eurokino" is an information partner of 16th German Film Festival. The shows of participating films will be held from November 30 to December 4 in Moscow, at the cinema "Formula Kino Horizont".

The opening ceremony will take place on November 29, this day the picture “The Captain”, staged by the director Robert Schwentke (“The Time Traveler's Wife”, “RED”, "R.I.P.D.”) will be presented. The historical drama is dedicated to the deserted Wehrmacht, pretending to be an officer, in an attempt to survive in April 1945.

In the framework of the main program, the audience will see the premiere of the tragicomedy “ In Times of Fading Light” (in the main role - Bruno Ganz, known for the films “The Sky over Berlin”, “The Reader” and “Bunker”), the family road-movie “My Brother Simpel”, comedy “SMS for you”, and two of the most popular German films of this year: “Four against the Bank”(with the star of German cinema Tile Schweiger) and “At the Limit” directed by Fatih Akin (“The Experiment”). Also, the viewers will take part in the development of the interactive thriller “Terror - You Take the Verdict”, in which the final depends on the ballot in the hall.

A special event of the festival will be the screening on the big screen of the first two series of the serial “Babylon-Berlin", one of the directors of which was Tom Tykwer (“Perfume”, “Cloud Atlas", "Run, Lola, run”). In the center of the plot of the serial is the investigation of a young police inspector in Berlin during the time of the Weimar Republic.
